Tips for drinking water

1. Water is a kind of nutrition which is often neglected in pig production. Keeping good water supply can promote the health of pig herds and increase the profit of pig raising.

2. the water intake of growing pigs is 3 times that of their dry feed, and that of lactating sows is 20 litres per day, and is affected by climate and environment.

Installation suggestion

1. Install at least two water dispensers in each hut.

2. the installation height of the drinking water dispenser is different from that of the pig weight, and generally should be higher than the minimum height 5cm.

3. the water dispenser should be installed in the defecate area away from the pig rest area.
